Moonlight Costume Ball: Arabian Nights

Join the chicest of Sheiks! Save the date-circle August 6 on your calendars. Fairytale Town is hosting its second annual Moonlight Costume Ball: Arabian Nights from 7pm-11pm.  Tickets go on sale July 1, $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event. Tickets are available at www.fairytaletown.org.

The Kasbah will be rocking with live music by Hero's Last Mission, and a DJ to dance the night away. Sheherezade had a thousand tales, and by the end of the night you will too! The event features Belly Dancers, Fire Throwers, a Henna Artist and readings from a Psychic (additional cost) that are sure to heat up the night. 

By day, Fairytale Town is a playful park full of fantasy and fun, a Sacramento landmark that offers children and families a safe place to play year-round.  This event is an opportunity for adults to experience the park without children. As a non-profit primarily focused on inspiring the imaginations of children and their families,  the Moonlight Costume Ball: Arabian Nights is a truly unique event. The proceeds raised by the event directly support Fairytale Town park improvements and its programs for children.

Grab a kaftan from your closet! Costumes are required and contests will be held with prizes for the following categories: Genie (Best Overall), Grand Sultan (Best Male), Desert Goddess (Best Female), King and Queen of the Gypsies (Best Couple) and Band of Thieves (Best Group).  Guests can purchase raffle tickets for prizes from local businesses including Gold Rush White Water Rafting, a two night stay at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe, and more!

You won't need a magic lamp to grant your wishes for delectable cuisine, with no-host Indian and Mediterranean fare from Mama Kim's, East-West Junction and Shaz Indian Restaurant.  Thirsty? Two bars, Desert Oasis and Palm Tree Tavern will be open to quench your thirst, with signature cocktails and local brews.
