Local author W. William Wimberly III will be at the Museum on November 3rd at 7pm to present his new book, Hanna’s Town: A Little World We Have Lost. This is a special “evening edition” of our popular History Hunters series, generously sponsored by Peabody Retirement Community. It will take place at 7pm in our multi-purpose room. History Hunters Event:  Thursday, November 18 at noon.   Our speaker will be Joe Krom, author of the historical novel, Heart of a Warrior:  The True Saga of Sweet Breeze and William Wells.  His topic will be “Frontier Battles on the Eel and Wabash Rivers .”

Red Carpet Club:  Thursday, December 23 at 6 pm.   Such a busy time of year, I know, but save this date for a special treat!  We’ll be watching “A Christmas Story”!  Indiana connection?  It is set in Hammond !
