Rob Zombie Joins Forces with Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights for a Nightmarish 3-D Maze!

PRESENTING THE NIGHMARISH NEW 3D MAZE,
“Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses:  In 3D Zombievision!”

 
Universal City, California—Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen, the world’s deadliest tourist trap, will be the setting for a nightmarish 3D world of carnage and chaos created by a preeminent master of contemporary horror as “Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses: In 3D ZombieVision” is presented at Universal Studios Hollywood’s SM “Halloween Horror Nights®” event, where the legends of horror will come to life.

            The 2010 “Halloween Horror Nights” event at Universal Studios Hollywood will offer spine-chilling new mazes based upon the horror genre’s most compelling characters. Rob Zombie and other top artists are collaborating with Universal Studios Hollywood in the creation of new mazes, “scare zones” and backlot experiences.

            “Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses: In 3D ZombieVision,” an original concept based on the cult smash film “House Of 1000 Corpses” will offer Halloween Horror Nights guests the opportunity to don 3D glasses for an up-close-and-personal three-dimensional encounter with the world’s most infamous serial killers. Guests will travel through the world of Capt. Spaulding, Baby, Otis and Dr. Satan experiencing Zombie’s iconic creations - “live” and in 3D.  Fans of House of 1000 Corpses” will feel at home walking through the Firefly family residence, the “Museum of Monsters and Madmen” and Dr. Satan’s lair.

            Rob Zombie’s latest release, “Hellbilly Deluxe 2,” is in stores now and you can catch him on tour with the Rockstar Mayhem Festival this Summer.

            Rob Zombie has additionally partnered with Universal Studios Hollywood for the “Halloween Horror Nights-Rob Zombie Film Competition,”  offering filmmakers an opportunity to have their scariest short film judged by a panel led by the multi-media horror auteur, rewarded with a premiere showing on Chiller, a posting on Syfy.com, a $1,000 cash prize and a trip for two to the opening night of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.               The theme park’s favorite thrill-ride attractions will also remain open for “Halloween Horror Nights” as well, many with menacing twists.  Favorites include “The Simpsons Ride®,” “Revenge of the MummySM – The Ride” and “Jurassic Park® In the Dark.” Additional new content for the 2010 Halloween Horror Nights mazes and attractions will be announced shortly.
