Kansas City’s Only River Tubing Adventure Begins Daily Operation

The New Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark Is Open Daily Starting Friday, May 28 With Special Discounts To Officially Kick Off The Summer Season.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – You no longer need to spend hours of driving in order to spend a hot summer day floating in a tube on a refreshing river. The new Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark in Kansas City, Kan., is open daily for the summer season beginning Friday, May 28, providing the areas only tubing adventure that combines slides, rivers, chutes and beaches to create a complete family waterpark experience. And if the park’s everyday amenities like free parking, free use of tubes and lifejackets and the opportunity to bring your own picnic inside the park are not enough, there are even more special discounts available for the holiday weekend.

Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark features a thrilling uphill water coaster, two mammoth tubing rivers including the world's longest tidal wave river, three huge slides, a white water tube chute, 13 mini slides for kids, three relaxing beach areas and a giant hot tub with swim-up refreshment bar.

Many of the attractions are connected by the Transportainment™ River System which combines the concepts of transportation, sport and entertainment to minimize the time spent waiting in lines.
