JACKIE GREENE returns to FAIRYTALE TOWN

Back by popular demand - Sacramento native, Jackie Greene, will perform new music and fan favorites at Fairytale Town's Mother Goose Stage on Friday June 4. Online ticket sales begin April 1. Tickets are available at http://www.fairytaletown.org/.

The June 4, audience will be among the first to hear Greene perform new music from his soon-to-be-released CD, "Till The Light Comes". His official release party is scheduled for June 29 at Slim's in San Francisco. Jackie Greene's loyal Sacramento following will be able to hear many of these tunes for the first time. This event is expected to sell out quickly; fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets NOW!

Tickets for this event are $25 when purchased in April; $30 in May; and $35 in June, while supplies last. Tickets are available on the Fairytale Town website: www.fairytaletown.org. Tickets are also available at R5 Records on Broadway and Land Park Drive. Seating will be intimate and limited. Blankets are welcome, no portable seats or folding chairs are allowed. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the Dish & Spoon Cafe, and courtesy of Red Oak Bar-B-Que. Outside food or beverages, including ice chests or picnic baskets will not be admitted. Gates open at 6:30PM and the concert begins at 8PM.

Jackie Greene's return to Fairytale Town is a fundraising event for the non-profit. In 2009, Greene played to a sold out audience for Fairytale Town's 50th Anniversary fundraiser event. Greene has toured with well known musicians such as: B.B. King, Phil Lesh, Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers, Willie Nelson, Huey Lewis, Susan Tedeschi, Taj Mahal, and Buddy Guy. Greene has played in many high profile festivals, including the Newport Jazz Festival and the Newport Folk Festival, Bonaroo, Summer Fest, Gathering Of The Vibes, Wakarus, and many more. Greene also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien on 3 separate occasions and his music has been featured on many TV shows including Men In Trees, Nurse Jackie, Eli Stone, and One Tree Hill. He most recently wrote and recorded the title tune for the Curious George "Follow That Monkey" CD Soundtrack.
